Description

Danish M/96 Military LMG - Light Machine Gun Pouches

Designed to go on your webbing belt this is a Quality made CQC HMAK Pouch.

M/96 woodland 3 colour Flecktarn

French Tab quick release fastener on the front.
Double lid system, so pull back top lid to reveal opening to remove ammo quickly - good design.
Can be carried over shoulder with strap included with quick release clips either side.

Pouch measures

8 inches tall,

3.5 inches across the front and

4 inches deep .

BANDTASKE M / 96, LMB description. The belt bag is made of textured nylon in Danish blur pattern. The bag has a strap on the back, as well as a split to attach the bag to the jug cover on the MG M / 62.

The bag has a detachable shoulder strap fitted with a buckle on both sides of the bag as well as two straps for securing blur. The bag has an exterior closure and an inside cage closure. The cage can be blended off with the sewn counter cage so that the bag can be opened silently. The lid of the bag is closed at the top with a pressure lock and cage closure. Using the sewn webbing tape, the lid can be opened from the back. The case has an inner lid with an X shaped opening. The lid is made of neoprene. Attached to the lid is a webbing strap intended for mounting on the first cartridge in the tape to facilitate loading of the machine gun. Description

These bags come from Danish Army inventory and were intended as Sturmgepäcke with adjustable shoulder straps and a removable shoulder strap. In addition, this backpack has an adjustable belly strap that prevents slipping

A carrying handle and various loops and brass rings make everything possible to attach to this backpack.

The dimensions are the following:

History / Summary

This model of haversack is not found in any other British or NATO webbing equipment. It is a very "home-grown" design, and is a part of a substantial deal that was made with M.E.Co. (Mills Equipment Company) during the late 40s.

The sack serves the same function as the British Pattern '37 Haversack, and carries: Rations, mess-tin, Esbit stove, ammunition, hold-all, sweater, socks and camouflage net.
There are a number of different brass fittings and webbing loops distributed all over the small pack. Most of them are for attaching the blanket roll with the small pack straps and other bits and pieces. The inner compartment is laterally divided into two compartments. One large front compartment and one smaller rear compartment.
