History
The vest was developed as a STRIDSVÄST SYSTEM 2008 by SnigelDesign and delivered 2,000 pieces to the Swedish armed forces for testing. In 2012, the weapon vest with small changes was then officially introduced as STRIDSVÄST 12.

Multi Pouch Small
The Multi pouch small 12 is made of polyurethane coated polyamide fabric in green-brown colour.
The Multi pouch is made to carry various personal items in. The pouch is mounted to the Combat vest, SVS 12, with two vertical attachment straps with special locking design. The front has three horizontal bands and the pouch is closed with a 2-way zipper.
There is one inner pocket in mesh fabric.
Two eyelets are placed at the bottom for drainage.

Utility Pouch Medium
The Multi pouch medium 12 is made of polyurethane coated polyamide fabric in green-brown colour.
The pouch is made for soldier stove or other items. The Multi pouch M is mounted to the Combat vest, SVS 12, with two vertical attachment straps with special locking design. The top lid closes with a hook in the front.
Two eyelets are placed at the bottom for drainage.

Multi Pouch Large
The Multi pouch large 12 is made of polyurethane coated polyamide fabric in green-brown colour.
The Multi pouch L 12 is made to carry various personal items in. The pouch is mounted to the Combat vest, SVS 12, with three vertical attachment straps with special locking design. The pouch is closed with a 2-way zipper.
There are two inner pockets in mesh fabric and a detachable internal wall that makes it possible to divide the pouch into two smaller compartments.
Three eyelets are placed at the bottom for drainage.

Personal Trauma Pouch 12
The Personal trauma pouch 12 is made of polyurethane coated polyamide fabric in green-brown colour.
The pouch is made for the individual soldier to carry first aid material in. The pouch is mounted to the Combat vest, SVS 12, with two vertical attachment bands with special locking design. The pouch is closed with a 2-way zipper and two non-lock puller.
There are two inner pockets in mesh fabric on one side and 6 string cords on the other side.
A red pull tab is placed at the top, for easy identifying of the trauma pouch.
Two eyelets are placed at the bottom for drainage.
Dumpficka 12
Dump Pouch 12
The Dump pouch 12 is made of polyurethane coated polyamide fabric in green-brown colour.
The pouch is made to carry used magazines, other loose items or as a backpack. The Dump pouch is mounted to the Combat vest, SVS 12, with four vertical attachment bands with touch and close fasteners. The opening lid is made with a 2-way zipper and the lid can be fixed in open position with a touch and close fastener on the inside.
The Dump pouch is normally folded, on the lower part of the vest, and with a quick pull is the pouch ready to use.
Three eyelets are placed at the bottom for drainage.

Magazine Pocket 12
The Magazine pouch 12 is made of polyurethane coated polyamide fabric in green-brown colour.
The pouch is made for 2 x G36 mags or 2 x 7.62 mags or 3 x 5.56 Mags . The Magazine pouch is mounted to the Combat vest, SVS 12, with two vertical attachment straps with special locking design.
The removable flap closes with a hook in the front. Three horizontal bands are sewn around the front and sides.
Elastic cord and elastic band is holding the magazine in place.
One eyelet is placed at the bottom for drainage.

The Single magazine pouch 12 is made of polyurethane coated polyamide fabric in green-brown colour.
The pouch is made for one magazine. The Single magazine pouch is mounted to the Combat vest, SVS 12, with two vertical attachment straps with special locking design.
The removable flap closes with a hook in the front. Three horizontal bands are sewn around the front and sides.
Elastic cord and elastic band is holding the magazine in place.
One eyelet is placed at the bottom for drainage.
Granatficka 12
Granate Pocket 12
The Grenade pouch 12 is made of polyurethane coated polyamide fabric in green-brown colour.
The Grenade pouch is made for one grenade and shall be attached to the Combat vest, SVS 12, with two straps.
The pouch is closed with a top lid and two snap fasteners in three different adjustments. On the back side are two horizontal straps with touch and close fasteners and two vertical straps with special locking design. At the front is a band with sex male snap fasteners attached.
Around the front is an elastic band attached to hold the hand grenade in place. The openings are bounded with elastic band.
The internal size of the pouch is variable, with a touch and close fastener, to fit all sizes of grenades.
An eyelet is placed at the bottom for drainage.

The Tool pouch 12 is made of polyurethane coated polyamide fabric, in green-brown colour.
The pouch is made for one multi tool and can be attached to the Combat vest, SVS 12 or to be carried at the trouser belt.
The pouch is mounted to the Combat vest with a vertical attachment band with special locking design. The flap is closed with touch and close fastener. An elastic band is holding the multi tool in place. One eyelet is placed in the bottom for drainage.

The Tourniquet pouch 12 is made of polyurethane coated polyamide fabric, in green-brown colour.
The pouch is made for one Tourniquet and can be attached to the Combat vest, SVS 12 or to be carried at the trouser belt.
The pouch is mounted to the Combat vest with a vertical attachment band with special locking design. The flap is closed with touch and close fastener. An elastic band is holding the tourniquet in place.

Storage Bag SVS 12
The Storage bag SVS 12 is made of PES mesh in black colour.
The storage bag holds the Combat Vest System 12 and all the equipment and items belonging to the system.
The Storage bag is used for storage and transportation
The bag has two handles for carrying, two straps for hanging it up and it opens with a two-way zipper. On the inside are horizontal bands sewn on for attaching the vest and pouches to the bag.
Elastic cord and elastic band is holding the magazine in place.
