Eagle Industries' Air Force Kit (AFK) is comprised of a hand selected group of pouches, panels, and adapters currently utilized by US Special Operations Forces and US Air Force Aircrews. The kit is mission tailorable to allow optimization of operator performance and protection.
At the core of the kit is the Combat Integrated Armor Carrier System (CIACS™) which is designed to meet aircrew needs as a modular armor carrier vest for aviation personnel. The vest is stitched with MOLLE webbing for placement of mission-essential survival, evasion, medical, and rescue items for downed aircrew members, and incorporates a quick release system, with a single pull cable to release only the ceramic armor plates.
Vest Sizing:
The CIACS ™ Vest is sized according to which armor plates it is intended to carry.
The SPEAR BALCS Soft Armor sizing is as follows:
• SMALL 37" or Less Torso
• MEDIUM 37" – 41" Torso
• LARGE 41" – 45" Torso
• X-LARGE 45" and up Torso
