Norwegian Army Telemark Pack - Ludvig

This is the legendary Norwegian army "Telemark" Pack. I say legendary, because this pack was dragged along by Kirk Douglas himself in the 1965 movie "The heroes of Telemark":

This bag is designed for use by and for EOD personnel.

Description

Norwegian field bottle with nylon cover and aluminum cookware. The bottle is made of plastic, with a screw cap and the capacity of 0.95 liter with a bag. Attached to the belt to the Norwegian Army's gunbelt.

Field Bottle into three parts. Bottle - outer cover and drink cup. The bottle holds 0.95 liters. The outer cover is made so that it has a certain vacuum effect.

History / Summary

In the equipment of Norwegian Jagerkorps, in 1789, 3 men per bottle were counted, and these were made of copper or tin. However, in the Equipment Regulations of 1855, both officers and soldiers would have their own field bottles. Today it is to check that the field bottle (with water) is one of the moments of the Norwegian soldiers 'ready to fight' (KTS) drill.
