AWS Medical Trauma Vest Model 52373. Black. Heavy duty tactical load bearing vest originally designed for Air Force Pararescue.

General Characteristics Item Description

Black nylon mesh; one size; W/compartments for radio equipment, flares, air bottle, strobe light, and medical equipment; adapted/developed to carry specific quantities of medical ta items, as well as special operations contingeny-specific items; for use in af special operations command missions


The Medical Trauma Vest (MTV) is a "one size fits all" mesh vest designed specifically for medical personnel. The vest has seven utility pockets to carry a wide variety of combat medical supplies plus and additional pocket to carry the HEEDS survival bottle. Two additional pockets are located inside the vest for map, notes, etc…. A Velcro strip is also provided on the inside for a name tape to identify the vest. The of the vest has 3 horizontal attachment straps to allow the use of a standard issue pistol belt for such items as a holster, magazine pouches, etc…. Adjustment of the vest is accomplished by cord loops on each side of the vest. Once the proper fitting is made, the excess cord is trimmed for custom fit. Velcro tabs are located in the shoulders to provide adjustment as needed. This vest is a high quality heavy duty general purpose combat assault medical vest.
