Description
U.S. Military issue tri-fold medical bag. It is marked "Case, Medical Instrument and Supply Set Field Casualty Treatment" on the exterior of the case; included is a tag which came with the case that is marked "Case, Medical Instrument and Supply Set Nylon Non-Rigid No. 4". Three large zippered compartments with that fold together and secure with a zipper (similar configuration as the smaller and more common "M3" medic bag, but larger and much longer compartments), with carrying strap on the top of the bag. Large Red Cross with white background on front of bag; rear of bag has strip with four snaps which I would assume are to mount the bag in a vehicle or helicopter. Tag is marked 7/85 which could indicate that this bag was manufactured in 1985.
