AOR1 camouflage pattern tests conducted by USSOCOM
Extremely rare collection of items used in the 2004-2005 AOR1 camouflage pattern tests conducted by USSOCOM in the south west US, Iraq, and Afghanistan by Army and Navy SMU personnel. The pattern used on this gear was the DG/NG4 pattern, a pattern developed by Natgear using the same colors as the AOR digital pattern (DG2). This pattern was the overall winner of the test but was not selected due to it's non-military appearance. Only a handful of these items were made by the selected companies to be utilized in the tests. You will be very hard pressed to find any or all of these items in any collection as most were destroyed through operational use.
This collection includes the following;
1 each Chest rig (LBT 1961 style) sewn by Eagle Industries, constructed of 330d Cordura,
1 each Mystery Ranch BDSB rucksack, modified to NSW DEVGRU spec, 7500 cubic inches, constructed of 330d Cordura,
1 set Field uniforms (top and bottoms, large regular) sewn by Beyond Tactical, constructed of ripstop 50/50 nyco, and
1 each Boonie hat, sewn by Beyond Tactical, constructed of 50/50 nyco.
