Description

Drop leg holsters, also referred to as “thigh rigs” or “tactical thigh rigs”, are designed for use when freedom of movement and firearms accessibility are key. These holsters place the firearm at hand-level and free up space on the user’s waist.

History / Summary

The Omega System / BlackHawk Website (1996)

BlackHawk's Omega System is comprised of load bearing vests, drop leg tactical holsters and drop leg tactical thigh pouches. All of these items are designed to be used individually or in combination as a complete tactical system. All holsters and leg pouches come standard with a fully adjustable belt hanger and removable leg straps. This allows the individual operator to wear their gear where they need it (high on the hip, low on the leg or for the drop leg pouches to be worn directly on the belt like a normal belt style pouch).
