Nomenclature

History

Crye AOR 1 pouches. The pouches were sewn for Crye Precision by Eagle Industries (OEM) for issue with the Crye CAGE to the Army's SMU. They are constructed of 330d Cordura in the AOR 1 pattern (except the radio pouch which is 500d Cordura).

The AOR 1 uniform and equipment were only in use by this Army unit for a matter of months before Multicam was general issue. The pouches that were not issued were returned and later issued on a limited basis to NSW.

This pocket in photo was part of a grouping of pouches designed by Crye Precision and produced by Eagle Industries. They were tested and evaluated by elite operators in the 2007-2008 time frame, as far as I can tell with CAG. They are in the AOR1 pattern. The pouches are part of Crye's lightweight line, as seen in the 2010 Crye catalog.

Specification

They feature 330D Cordura construction for reduced weight.It is a very unique design in a very lightweight fabric.You won't find more authentic gear. All of this legitimate kit is very hard to find.
