Crye Precision
The small, New York-based design firm of Crye Associates was formed in 2000 and in 2001 won a contract to participate in the U.S. Army’s project ‘Scorpion’, which was the first phase of FCS (Future Combat Systems) program. Crye’s involvement in the project included a complete redesign/overhaul of the uniform and equipment worn by the combat soldier. One of the many innovative ideas/items that stemmed from that project is a new camouflage pattern. Unofficially referred to as the ‘Scorpion pattern’ until now (as it was born out of the Scorpion project), Crye is now producing it as ‘MultiCam’. Newly established Crye Precision is the manufacturing/production side of design-oriented Crye Associates, and has introduced the pattern, as well as apparel and equipment made in MultiCam. Fabrics in 1000d and 500d Cordura and 2 weights of 50/50 NYCO twill are now available.

Crye Precision is the manufacturing arm of the design company Crye Associates™. Crye Associates™ designs and engineers equipment for the United States Army and other DOD agencies. Crye Precision manufactures and sells certain pieces of equipment that Crye Associates™ designs.
Crye Precision was established to answer questions we kept hearing from users during field tests, such as "When will this gear be available?" and "Where can I buy this stuff?" After a year of not being able to answer their questions, we decided to start manufacturing the gear ourselves. So in an effort to get innovative, high-speed, and well-made gear to the guys who need it now, Crye Precision was formed.
Several of Crye Associates' gear designs are now being manufactured and offered for sale by Crye Precision. Some items are only available to qualified agencies but most are available to the general community.
The motto here is “Performance First.”™ We make uncompromising gear for uncompromising individuals. We work hard to provide smart, high-value, high-performance, long-wearing gear for people who demand the best. Every item is made in America from American materials. And every item is designed to help you perform better.
We are proud and honored to serve our customers' needs. We spend as much time as we can with users, and continuously incorporate their experience and feedback into the gear. We give them the full support of our resources, and are indebted to them for their service and their sacrifice.

1. FRAG POUCH Holds one frag grenade (or five shotgun shells with optional insert). Can be mounted right side up or upside down.
2. 5.56-7.62, MBITR POUCH Holds either a 5.56 magazine, 7.62 magazine, or one MBITR.
3. 152/BOTTLE POUCH Holds a 152 or a water bottle.
4. GP POUCH 6x6x3 Holds either an individual medical kit, 5590 battery, PVS-15, five flashbangs, or a 100-round SAW drum (or five 40mm grenades with optional insert). Includes a SSE bag in front zipper pocket.
5. GP POUCH 9x7x3 Holds either 200-round SAW drum, six 5.56 magazines, a 54 oz. water bladder, GPNVG (panos), or FGS (fusion goggles). Optional padded insert available.
6. GP POUCH 11x6x4 Holds either four door-breaching charges or M53 protective mask. Optional drop leg attachment available.
