History

A really rugged British-made sleeping bag using the best materials for durability and warmth. Down and feather-filled, mostly made by Chelsea Quilt but others did make them, including some Dutch companies.

Issued from 1958 up to the 90s, this was the definitive sleeping bag for sleeping outdoors, with a military waterproof base and roll up hood attached. Designed to bivvy out with just a poncho covering the top. Press studs attached to fit the poncho.

Istructions 

Use of Bag


Unroll bag and shake out
In rain cover with poncho or water proof sheet
Try to avoid enter bag with dirty and wet clothing
Keep face outside bag and do not breathe into it .
If cold , wear face with muffler etc.
Open Bag and air thoroughly


Zip Fastener

To close Hold both sides close together ,
and pull slider to top , then press touch fasteners together
For emergency exit grasp each side of opening above slider
and pull apart quickly .


Packing of Bag
Fasten three toggles and loops
Roll bag from foot allowing air to escape
roll into hood outer and fasten toggles.

Maintenance
Brush off loose dirt : wipe clean with soapy cloth .
Dry thoroughly when ever possible .
