History
MLCS (Maritime Load Carriage System)
There is little information in this regard despite the fact that the kit finds its first use already in 2002, the DG-MLCS or in any case an MLCS destined for NSWDG was certainly born for obvious reasons.
Subsequently, what would be Eagle Industries' Maritime Load Carriage System 1st Gen was put together and progressively distributed to all SEALs Teams. The first kit was made of yellow cordura (anti-IR treated) with black ITW Nexus fastex, black zips, almost white velcro, black or white elastics, yellow mesh, MOLLE or 1/2 inch clear loops and ALICE loops or wide straps in an almost white khaki, almost all pockets had the so-called "trim" (the edge) in dark earth, none of the kit pieces have labels.
Subsequently, two different kits were created in the years 2003-2004, in which some pockets and vests were made by Allied Industries. DG-MLCS and MLCS with MJK cordura (Matt Johnson Khaki) always treated anti-IR, with different colors of the trim, specifically Pink Trim, Gray Trim and Orange Trim (it cannot be excluded that there are others), these three kits are from the same years and the same generation, the color of the trim, as well as the color of the closing flaps of the M4 pouches tending to pink in many lots, is just a coincidence not dictated by any technical or tactical significance (what they had in stock they used). The color of fastex, zip, velcro and so on remained the same.
From 2004 until probably 2006 some changes were made to the construction of the pockets of the MLCS kit, there is no news of a DG-MLCS kit of this generation, the main changes were: the removal of the trims from most of the pockets , the addition of fastex to the M60 pockets and the creation of the SAW pockets, the MBITR radio pouch are replaced with a new model, the M4 Pistol holsters disappear in favor of the Highride, additional packages are introduced in which the MBSS plate carrier are located (this time produced by Eagle), the MAR-CIRAS, the PACA outershell and so on.

The whole kit is packaged with greater uniformity in the colors all tending to the color of the background cordura strictly MJK, except in rare cases, in which entire lots are built with slightly dark cordura, almost white thread and light velcro .... on some lots the first green labels appear with contract numbers, nsn and so on.
From late 2006 and until 2008 the latest MLCS kits were distributed with a color more similar to the civilian line of Eagle Industries, a slightly different and more lively khaki than MJK, all parts of the individual pockets are of the same color: fastex, velcro , zip, various loops. The possibility of mounting ALICE pockets on the RRVS and H-Harness in the most modern kits disappears, there are tan-colored labels on which the part code, name and date of the year of construction are found.
Finally, since 2008 (but certainly the NSWDG has been testing it for some time) an MLCS kit is introduced in DIGI2, and the MJK is then abandoned or at least joined in favor of the new camouflage scheme supplied to the US Navy. The kit certainly maintains the same quantities of pockets and vest as the previous one but the color is changed, the cordura is 1000D anti-IR treated, on each pocket and garment there are tan labels with the name, code and year of manufacture of the piece.

Attention eBay: This is a collectible military item. Nothing offered in this sale breaks any laws, regulations or eBay rules/guidelines. Thank you in advance for understanding. Please do not hesitate to make reasonable offers! OLDGEN Admin GP Pouch Eagle Ind. DG-MLCS MJK Tan 2002 DEVGRU Navy SEAL Very rare! This piece is in excellent condition, appears very lightly used. Purchased from the estate of a former N avy SEAL. Considered retired/surplus gear. This admin pouch came in an Eagle Industries DG-MLCS deployment kit. I am not sure if this was originally part of the DG-MLCS kit or an addition, but it does appear to be manufactured by Eagle Industries. It also appears to be from the same period based on the stitching/elastic band color and pouch construction. Very hard item to find with cross-stitching on the lower front Velcro as well as the upper front Velcro. Newer generation MLCS admin pouches have horizontal stitching on the lower front Velcro. I believe the color is called "MJK tan". The pouch pictured is the exact item you will receive. The last two photos show the Eagle Industries Maritime Load Carriage System (MLCS) deployment bag this pouch came in, as well as dated paper work (6/21/02) that was also in the deployment bag. The paperwork in the deployment bag does not list this admin pouch in the inventory list. Deployment bag and paperwork are not included. Thank you for viewing my listing! I have attempted to thoroughly and accurately describe this item, but if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.PayPal is preferred. Prompt payment is expected. MLCS ADMIN #1 HIDE
