East Gemany DDR / KVP People's Police Water Bottle

Feldflasche KVPPeople's Police Barracks - KVP (Kasernierten Volkspolizei)


 This is actually a classic German canteen, as it has been used for many years in the German military. The canteen is an aluminum bottle with aluminum cups and aluminum screw cap, and Flizüberzug Lederbeiemung and was produced in this form in the early days of NVA for the NVA.

    Hello, Mike!

    All german canteen with a red cup - a DRK (German Red Cross) canteen. I have a photo of the DRK employees with such canteen.

    On your canteens with the little loop on one side and the buckle on the other,
    the circulating sling for carring it over ones shoulder in missing.
    They are not KVP.
