DESIGNED FOR EMERGENCY INTUBRATION OF A PATIENT BY PROVIDING SUFFICIENT VENTILATION OF THE ESOPHAGUS OR TRACHEA
Combitube, like a King LTD, but designed to be able to function almost no matter how the tube is placed due to the dual lumen tube design.
The Combitube, also known as the double-lumen airway, is a blind insertion airway device (BIAD) used in the pre-hospital and emergency setting. It is designed to provide an airway to facilitate the mechanical ventilation of a patient in respiratory distress.
