RUSSIAN WW1 INFANTRY FLAT SHOVEL - Spaten

Home > E-Tools  >

The shovel blade had the original Russian Cyrillic markings removed by the Germans and we think a "H" on the blade is for Heer to be re-issued to German soldaten. There are a good amount of nicks on the edge of the blade. The wooden handle is in very good condition, has a faint date "1911", someone initials and the normal nicks and has the

"ball" at the bottom.
