This is an old gen Eagle Industries MLCS Patrol Pack in khaki with black zippers and buckles. Buckles dated '02.
Very rare MLCS pack with black zipper in the first place. Now add Detachment One issue and you have a super rare piece. I have only seen one other many years back.
History / Summary
The Marine Corps Special Operations Command Detachment One, also simply known as Det One, was a pilot program of attaching a permanent unit of the United States Marine Corps to the United States Special Operations Command. It was commanded by Col. Robert J. Coates, former commanding officer of 1st Force Reconnaissance Company and Capt. Ryan Snedeker, former executive officer of 1st Force Reconnaissance Company. Det One was activated on 19 June 2003 and had its headquarters at Camp Del Mar Boat Basin in Camp Pendleton, California. It was disbanded in 2006 and succeeded by the permanent United States Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC).

Personnel
The unit consisted of 81 Marines and 5 Navy Corpsmen divided among 4 sections:reconnaissance element (30 men)
intelligence element (29 men), containing a headquarters element anda Radio Reconnaissance Team (RRT), (9 men)
a SIGINT support team (3 men)
a human intelligence (HUMINT) exploitation team (HET), (6 men)
an all-source fusion team (12 men)fires element (7 men)
headquarters element
The original Marines that formed the detachment were hand-picked from over 500 superior candidates. Despite common misconceptions, Det One was not a beefed-up Force Reconnaissance platoon. While the reconnaissance element was composed mostly of Force Recon Marines, they made up only 24 of the 86 members of the detachment. The detachment, though lacking organic aviation, operated under the Marine Air-Ground Task Force philosophy of leveraging integrated, complementary capabilities to be more effective than the sum of its parts.
More than half of Det One's Recon Marines were trained Scout Snipers.

History / Summary
AK/M4 triple (3x2) magazine pouch. The pouch is khaki tan in color and features hook and pile front closures with snaps, molle webbing for attachment to tactical vests or packs, and three drainage grommets on the bottom of the pouch. The pouch can hold up to six (6) magazines in a 3x2 configuration. The product designation code is MP3-M4/AK-3-MS-KH. These pouches are official Eagle Industries product and each one is manufactured to the highest of tactical standards.

Early gen Eagle Industries DGLCS M249 and M60 box mag pouch set. These pouches are very rare and were only produced for a short amount of time. This piece is even rarer as it has white Velcro, pinky edging and molle, and black elastic. Included in this auction is an M60 box mag pouch w/ divider and flap and an M249 box mag pouch w/ divider and flap.

This is a very gently pre-owned and very lightly used rare tactical web gear and pouch set from the U.S. Navy. This is the MARITIME LOAD CARRIAGE SYSTEM (DG-MLCS) produced by EAGLE INDUSTRIES. This is Part Number MS-KCS and was produced under contract for the elite commandos of the Navy's DEVGRU and SEAL Team 6 and later expanded to the rest of the SEAL Teams. This is the complete system and includes 59 pouches, 2 harnesses and the deployment bag. Also included as a rare bonus are the original manufacturer's system diagram and component listing sheets dated 6.21.02. The great set was obtained in a military living estate sale lot and was originally obtained as an issue item. It is complete and in perfect condition. In fact only one harness and less than 10 of the pouches have ever even been out of the bag and those were worn in a few static scenarios.

Dal tardo 2006 e fino al 2008 sono stati distribuiti gli ultimi kit MLCS con una colorazione più simile alla linea civile della Eagle Industries, un khaki leggermente diverso e più vivo del MJK, tutte le parti delle singole tasche sono dello stesso colore: fastex, velcro, zip, passanti vari. Scompare la possibilità di montare tasche ALICE sul RRVS e H-Harness nei kit più moderni, sono presenti etichette di color tan su cui si trova il codice del pezzo, il nome e la data dell'anno di costruzione.

MLCS – Maritime Load Carrying System is made in MJK (Matt Johnson Khaki) which is Eagle Industries’ version of tan. This LCS is mainly used by the SEALs as far as I know. Earlier versions do not feature any NSN tag and you have a lot of different series. Like orange trim, grey trim, white stitching etc. Also earlier versions featured black fastex buckles as opposed to the newer gen with tan buckles. This LCS was made by Eagle Industries and Allied Industries.

Ok. Many people have asked if I have more Eagle Industries MJK pouches for sale, and I have held them off because I was waiting to put this back together. Well, I have opened gear bags and taken rigs apart, and this as complete as I can make this kit. Here goes... Condition: Much is actually brand new and never used. Some of the stuff I pulled off my rigs was a little salty and nasty, but the washing machine did wonders! (Eagle really makes some great gear!) As a result, all items are in pretty good nick. A quick search on eBay shows that the blow-out kit, utility pouch, and the M14 pouches can be sourced so, if your OCD is overwhelming, there is a path to happiness!
