by 1954 we have a new greek local copy of the british P37 so ill call that P37 copy the M54 though there is no official designation for it...

M1943 Camo Jungle Rucksack--1943 DateOriginal WW2 GI M1943 jungle rucksack, camouflage printed canvas body featuring OD #7 shoulder straps, OD #3 [greenish-khaki] suspender and compression straps, OD #7 strip across top of flap for attaching extra gear, brass CONMAR zipper with original brown leather pull tab on front of flap, and drawstring top with zinc grommets. Well marked U.S. on flap, G. & R. CO. 1943 under flap. Very light fading to straps but camo colors are still nice and strong. No holes, fading, fraying, broken hardware or other damage. Pack was found in the Killeen/Fort Hood area about 20 years ago. Outstanding piece for any WW2 camo or web gear collection and is in excellent condition. Any questions please feel free to ask.
