Statement of Company Purpose  (Eagle Website 1997)

Eagle Industries was founded on the belief that certain values can not be compromised. First, the customer is always right. Second, never sell a person something he/she doesn't need. Third, we produce the best nylon products, anywhere!

We understand that the operational requirements are different and no two agencies will use the same equipment or tactics. Our products are tailored to meet real requirements and are made for professionals. We at Eagle encourage comments and input because they are important to use, we do listen.

"What good is a guarantee 4000 miles from the factory?" This statement, made by an aviator in the 160th Aviation Regiment, prior to Desert Storm, sums up what we are all about. A LITTLE HISTORYEagle Industries Unlimited, Inc. was founded by Lorene Pyles and her son, John Carver. The company was started in 1982 with three regular employees and 10 home sewers.Even then, the company had a considerable depth of experience. The main thrust was to make tactical and adventure equipment for the professional user. The first requirement was to build quality into the entire operation. "Quality By Design" was to be the guiding principle. The original Eagle plant was located in Webster Groves, Missouri. The plant was home based there until 1989 when growth demanded more space. The new location chosen was in Fenton, Missouri. The move, to the new plant, was made with 35 employees and their equipment. The new facility was much larger and the space would soon be needed, as business started to increase.

Business expanded at a rate commensurate with phenomenal. More product lines were added, and, as demand increased for quality tactical equipment, products made with the Eagle logo became the standard. Success made our equipment the most recognized, and, the most requested for the professional user. Overseas business had been steady, but the fall of the Berlin Wall made access to closed markets and quality deprived consumers a sure thing. The war in the Gulf made a hectic pace, frantic. Successfully supplying the needs of these diverse events, established our reputation worldwide. Professionals, everywhere, could now be supplied with the finest of equipment. This gave them the confidence to focus on their main object: "Accomplishment of the Mission." There are, for lack of better words, "The Professional's Professional" who will use nothing else. This is a fitting tribute to the efforts and the vision of the company's founders and all of the employees that caused that vision to become a reality.

The future belongs to the person with a winning attitude. That attitude is made, in part, by confidence that your equipment is the best made and it will not fail. Your abilities, and our equipment, give you the decisive edge.
