The majority of the company's goods are supplied to military and police markets, with an emphasis on special units within these forces. Generally, the expert roles requires products of particular specification and often a higher performance level than standard issue. In addition, the company is expert in swift manufacture for urgent and unforeseen circumstances. Many of the goods in the company's wide product profile were initially developed for the specific needs of a particular unit. Tim Holden, the company's owner and chief designer, regards specific requirements as a challenge and is prepared to open dialogue on new developments where a wide need is seen as potential.

Company Motto
THE QUALITY OF ENDURANCE. Says what it implies - that endurance of the product is the quality to which we first give consideration. The ability of the product last is of greater importance to the man in the field than whether it looks good when it comes out of the box. Where we have to put in a lot of moving parts we seek to install fail-safe backup devices. The recent Pegasus with detachable and axis-shifting modules has three support devices. The incredible Double D design has simple support mechanisms which provide the user with great security. My current main focus is on speed of access in design.
OUR AIM is to always be the best. The fastest. The longest-lasting. The smartest. Kitting out the unit that leaves at short notice, stretching our resources, sending goods through the middle of the night to meet the urgent needs of our customers, is all part of the excitement of a fantastic product. We live in a world of NO. This company strives to defeat the cautious, stretched to overcome the forces of negativity. There's nothing like the returning user who got the best out of the kit, appreciated what went into it, especially the hard-bitten who'd used the wrong stuff in the past. ARKTIS is fortunate to achieve this sort of praise pretty often.
OUR PRODUCT is mostly unique. We take sometimes unusual blends of raw materials and combine them into high-performance items. Generally we use the best raw materials available on the market. In some cases we make our own. We have many imitators, the worst of whom can't admit it and claim to be original. The customers in the know, know it. Those who don't soon find out. We wish our imitators weren't there, but we accept their flattery with resignation. These people come and go, whilst we seem to have hung around for a while.
Tim Holden
