Webbingbabel: USMC Extreme Cold Weather Suit "Happy Suit" Complete Set MCWCS

Overview: The Extreme Cold Weather (ECW) Mitten System is comprised of a mitten shell with a removable mitten liner and a flame resistant light duty glove insert to provide improved environmental protection. Features: The mitten shell is constructed from coyote colored nylon and has a water repellent leather palm. The mitten shell is insulated with an elastic wristband and a long gauntlet that extends up the forearm and is tightened to the arm with an adjustable cord and barrel lock. The mitten liner is water repellant and attaches to the inside of the shell by hook and loop tabs and has a no slip grip. The light duty glove insert is flame resistant and made from a water repellant treated knitted Nomex/Lycra blend with grip dots covering the finger and palm. Components: Mitten shell and two liners (one mitten type, one glove type)

The Marine Corps has developed an Extreme Cold Weather Mitten System including a Mitten Shell with Removable Liner and Light Duty Flame Resistant Glove Insert, which will provide improved environmental protection over USMC's previous mitt, the insulated trigger

The mitten shell is constructed from waterproof coyote colored nylon and has a water repellent leather palm.
