This is one of the best British Special Forces zoot suits I have ever come across.
These are unofficial lightweight windproof hooded tops worn by Britans elite troops, Paras SAS SBS etc.
The jackets are meade from scrap parachutes at the regimental depot.
They are a suberb survival / field garment, very light, folds down really small, to fit on a pouch or pocket.
The tight weave of the parachute material, makes it exceptionally windproof.
This one is unusual as it has a hood made from an orange parachute, an ideal escape and evasion feature, can be tucked inside when worn.
It fits me perfectly, I'm six feet tall, medium build.
It has a half zip, elasticated wrists, bottom draw cord and single chest pocket.
This is a superb unique SF item.
