These are the older model Swiss water bottles, and close with a proper old fashioned cork. Cup included.
Essentially the same model was used from the 30's to the 80's, maybe even the early 90's. If they didn't see the need to change it, it's probably because the thing worked well enough as it was. The older model was green, whereas these black ones were made in the 70's and 80's. The Swiss combat jacket has a pocket specifically meant for this bottle.
The volume of the bottle is about 6,5 dl, and 5 dl for the cup.
