History

First Model Thermarest

This is officially the PAD, SLEEPING, SEL-INFLATING, ULTRA LITE LONG, MILITARY. It was manufactured under contract by Cascade Designs; a prime government contractor and makers of the THERMAREST line.

THERMAREST is the biggest name in self-inflating mattresses. They are the “original” self-inflating mattresses and still the best. A THERMAREST mat provides comfort with both cushioning and insulation. This mattress is rendered with a durable fabric outer shell in OLIVE GREEN over GRAY and measures approximately 73” by 20” by 1.75” when inflated.

To use the mat, simply open the valve and unroll the mat. After it inflates simply close the valve. To stow just open the valve, roll the mat squeezing out the air as you go and then close the valve.
