Suit "Gorka"

History and main modifications of the Gorka costume

The progenitor of the Gorka suit was a mountain assault suit of units fighting in the mountains during the Second World War.

Gorka suit was originally designed for combat operations in the mountains of Afghanistan. "Gorka" served as the top layer of clothing and protected from strong winds and temperature changes. Similar suits were used by geologists and builders in the Far East. The battle path of the slide continued during the first Chechen campaign.

In the future, the Gorka suit was modified and improved. The initiators of the improvements were not only power units, but also outdoor enthusiasts.

To date, there are such varieties of the Gorka suit as Gorka-2, Gorka-3, Gorka-4, Gorka-5. The suit can also be summer, demi-season, winter. Suits "Gorka" are made in all popular camouflage colors.

Traditionally, any costume from the "Gorka" series consists of a jacket (different types depending on the series: "Huntsman", "Anorak", etc.) and trousers with suspenders.

The slide suit is popular not only among military personnel. It was appreciated by hunters, fishermen, tourists. It's so popular that you might run into it in Call of Duty and Battlefield games.
