Canadian Army Rucksack / Cargo Pack / Pack Board Frame

These were manufactured in 1998-2001 to carry items for the ERYX system. It is essentially a very well made rucksack frame that doubles as a pack board / cargo carrier. You can mount a rucksack bag that you have, or use it the way it is and strap your heavy cargo to it. It is adjustable for any body size as the shoulder harness and hip belt system can slide up or down in channels in the frame. They lock into place by 2 screws and a sliding bracket.

 

Frame: NATO Stock # 8465-21-920-2064.
High density plastic (very hard to break - super strong) - very similar to the US Army rucksack frames. Measures 25.5" x 14.25" x 1/2". Manufactured in Canada by PAPP Plastics in Windsor Ontario. . Has numerous slots to mount whatever you want, or to mount the included components in any position for a custom fit. Has 2 vertical channels to mount the shoulder strap assembly and hip belt assembly in a range of vertical positions (so you can custom size the fit to your body / comfort).


Hip Belt. NATO Stock # 8465-21-920-5649. 

Hip Belt Assembly, ERYX System. Made by Pacific Safety Products INC. These things are super heavy duty and super well made. Adjustable waist, large front buckle, adjustable height (in combination with the frame), adjustable back pad, mounting screws and slide clamp.

Shoulder Harness Assembly, ERYX System. Made by Pacific Safety Products INC. These things are super heavy duty and super well made. Adjustable height (in combination with the frame) - quick release on one side and chest cross, chest snap, very well padded, back pad, mounting screws and slide clamp.

Canadian Army Pack Board w/bags - manufactured in 1998-2001 to carry items for the ERYX system, 25.5" x 14.5" x 1/2"; Small Bag - 12.5" x 9" x 8"; Large Bag - 19" x 10" (tapers from 10" to 5-1/2")

Other features: Will easily hold 90 lbs of cargo.

If compared to the US army Molle II this frame is much stronger and similar in size. The Molle II clips will fit into this frame, the fit is not exact but functional. It has enough loop holes in the frame to accommodate just about any shoulder/waist belt, or main bag.It has 96 holes for straps / clips, a carry handle on the top, the frame is contoured, and is constructed of a high density plastic material (somewhat flexible and very strong - tough to break)
