PETALUMA, Calif. — As part of its new 2000 Maximum™ Gear line of Hands-Free Hydration™ Systems for military and law enforcement personnel, CamelBak® Products, Inc., has introduced its largest Hydration Pack -- the MotherLode™ system.

With three cargo chambers and 1900 cubic inches of space, there is enough room in the MotherLode for first aid, communications and optics equipment, foul weather gear, MRE, ammunition, extra gear and dry clothing, in addition to 100 oz. of water. It can be used over an H-harness or LBV. It is also ideal for canine units, SWAT teams, search and rescue teams and other law enforcement units that have to carry large amounts of gear.

The MotherLode can easily carry additional reservoirs. It features modular attachment points and two horizontal compression straps to secure load as well as a load-bearing waist belt. It is available in black.

Already in service with elite military and law enforcement units, the new Maximum™ Gear line has been redesigned for increased durability and a new level of performance. It also features many enhancements required for hard use environments, such as 1000D Cordura® fabric, double-stitched seams, bigger bite valves and new wide mouth screw cap reservoirs.

Since dehydration is the number one factor in heat stress, it’s essential that military and law enforcement personnel consume adequate fluids while on the move. The Maximum Gear line offers seven Hands-Free Hydration™ Systems for virtually any type of military or law enforcement situation.
