Eagle Industries SF30-AK Chest Rig Black

Eagle Ind. SF30AK Black (2003)
Chest Panel

Eagle Industries SF30-AK Chest Rig. The buckles date this vest at about 2003. Made of very soft cordura, typical of Eagle items from this era. This is the later model rig with the webbing covering the snaps on the mag pouches and belt loops. This is a much higher quality and better designed counterpart to the BHI Commando.

The pockets would accept up to 12 magazines and the GP pockets would take canteens or other gear. What’s more the ammo pouches featured Eagle’s silent closure which required a downward pull on the webbing tab to release or attach the flap.

At the rear, there were two male portions of 1″ side release buckles which would allow the attachment of the assault pack from the field pack, large internal frame.

However, most everyone cut them off because they would dig in if you wore a pack.

The CP-SF-30AK is made from rugged abrasion and water resistant Cordura nylon and can hold enough ammunition and equipment for you to definately "hold your own!" Case in point: (1) 4 magazine pouches that can carry 3 M-16 mags per pouch or 2 AK 47 mags per pouch. These mag pouches have: Mil. Spec. hook and loop and snaps for closure, gromments, & pull tabs. (2) 2 large side utility pouches with Fastex buckles. Also, slotted webbing on side for slide clips (to hang extra gear). (3) Two extra pockets behind utility pouches. (4) 1 Full length inside pocket. (5) Back of CP-SF-30AK is padded and uses CoolMax for coolness and comfort. (6) Military belt loops for military belt.
