Paraclete LVBC (Low Vis BALCS Carrier)

In early 2013, SKD started a series of meetings with Paraclete in order to develop new products that the market has been needing in light of the vacuum created by the departure of Eagle Industries. The first product to be produced from this joint venture is the Paraclete LVBC, or Low Vis BALCS Carrier.

The Paraclete LVBC comes in S through XL, and is available in 4 colors: Black, Ranger Green, Coyote and Multicam. Made with lightweight high-quality US fabrics, the LVBC gives the Soldier, LEO and security contractor a top-tier armor carrier option at an entry-level price point.

Made to hold BALCS spec soft armor, the Paraclete LVBC has an internal harness that is designed to hold a plate securely up near the top of the carrier. Each LVBC size also indicates the corresponding ESAPI plate that will fit securely in the LVBC harness, i.e. and LVBC Small will fit an ESAPI Small, but not an ESAPI Medium. Commercial 10" x 12" plates will fit Medium LVBC's and larger, but not the LVBC Small. Concealment Vest uses the same soft armor inserts as the patented Releasable Assault Vest. This affords the operator the ability to use one set of armor for the RAV Tactical Vest and the RAV Concealment Vest. These concealment carriers are designed to hold the soft armor insert to prevent sagging. MSA Paraclete vests are constructed from 100% USA made products and are Berry
