Rare Israeli Army Metal Water Bottle

These canes were used in the 1960s. The taste of the water was particularly bad when the canteen heated up. To enhance the taste we would squeeze lemon and mix with the water.

The 'Palalum' factory operated from 1933 until it closed in 1951 so it is estimated that this canteen was manufactured until the late 40's.

Measures 7.8"/20cm high. At the back of the cover is a loop and metal catchers for attaching it to the Warriors belt/vest/web.

This bottle was early 70s most probably used also for contain oil , disel oil etc.
